A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Driver to join Teesdale Event and Site Services, part of Border Group Ltd, based at our depot near Barnard Castle.
Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting and servicing our toilet facilities across northern England and southern Scotland and working in our depot and on customer sites to provide the best possible service to our clients.
During the course of completing deliveries and collections, our Service Drivers are also responsible for maintaining and cleaning our toilet facilities at construction and events sites across the North East of England.
As part of this role, when required, the successful candidate will also be responsible transporting and unloading various types of events products for our clients across the UK to ensure their safe delivery to and from our depot.
Duties will also include assisting in our busy depot yard with tasks such as cleaning our products, moving and storing equipment, general maintenance and housekeeping, and inspecting equipment.
Job Criteria
The ideal Service Driver will have the following skills and experiences:
- Clean, UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Driver CPC card up to 7.5T (desirable)
- Experience within our industry
- Previous experience in a driving role
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills

Contract Type – Permanent
Working Hours – Minimum of 35 hours per week working Monday to Friday with overtime available. Occasional weekend availability will also be required.
